I really like not having to wake up. However guess what time I woke up… 5:30 am… and why…? Well that’s what time I hate waking up at Monday thru Friday and my body wakes me up. Well and the cat. The cat isn’t mine, in fact it hates me, but at 5:30 am he is at my door making noise… basically everyday. Then today I was wide awake. I wish I woke up this easily when i had to go to work.
I think maybe it has to do with this subconscious rebellion against alarm clocks. On a weekday morning i have 7 alarms to wake me up. And I still get out of bed late and end up at work barely on time.
How can I…
1. Wake up better during the week?
2. Get the cat to leave me alone?
3. Sleep heavier on a Saturday morning, and not wake up so earlier
The other problem is that on Sundays I want to make it to first service. Maybe in my subconscious attitude towards my alarm Sundays are hard too. As long as I’m up by 6:45 I can make it to 1st. And that is even getting an hour more sleep then a weekday. I don’t get this.
Because I couldn’t depend on the cat to wake me on a weekday. That would seem like the perfect idea, no alarm, wide awake… I bet then Duder (that’s the cat’s name) would be knocked out somewhere. And i’d probably sleep til 12. And lose my job.
Moving on, I will make the best of my Saturday. I’ve caught up on 4 hours of tv.
