We had a wonderful 1st Christmas! Jesus is definitely the reason for the season!
We both got off work early on Christmas Eve. We met up with Randall’s parents and Kristi’s mom at Harvest for the Christmas Eve service. Which was awesome. I am sure that it is archived @ harvest.org. We then had them over for baked potato soup. Which is also amazing. It is a very easy recipe, I can’t claim it as my own… http://www.verybestbaking.com/recipes/detail.aspx?ID=105070
We then exchanged a couple presents, and our parents exchanged gifts. We then filled each other’s stockings with neat things and put them out for the morning. We had a fun time waking up and giving each other presents.
We then stopped by Kristi’s mom’s for a little bit to see Suzanne and Traci. We then went over to Kristi’s grandparents, and quickly visited with everyone. Kristi’s grand parents got her a bike, and she reacted like a 6 year old kid. It was funny. Randall has been wanting to ride bikes but Kristi hasn’t had a bike for a long time.
We then headed to Ryan and Michelle’s, Randall’s brother’s and his wife’s house. We made it there pretty quick… especially for the 91 having traffic. It was an enjoyable evening with Randall’s family including Michelle’s parents who visited from Arizona. Michelle cooked some really neat food that was delicious.
Then we hit NO traffic coming home… Randall was sleeping though, so he didn’t notice.
It was a fun day, I think we got some cool pictures to put on here later, but right now it’s time to sleep.
So we have our first nativity scene. yes I ripped off this dude oliverfabel.de only because he said he couldn’t ship his to the US. So I had to make my own.
